Bronze Sixth Pentacle of Saturn for Protection Talisman

This is a reproduction of a talisman design found in the "Key of Solomon", a grimoire of ceremonial magic attributed to King Solomon. Containing influences of Hermetic alchemy, Roman Astrology and Kabbalah, Solomon's magic is a cornerstone of the Western Esoteric occult tradition. The grimoire explains: "Around this Pentacle is each Name symbolised as it should be. The person against whom thou shalt pronounce it shall be obsessed by Demons." Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers, a ceremonial magician and editor of the most common edition of the book, further describes: "It is formed from Mystical Characters of Saturn. Around it is written in Hebrew: 'Set thou a wicked one to be ruler over him, and let Satan stand at his right hand.'"
