Description
A Mala Necklace is a string of beads used as a tool for prayer and mantra recitation.
Although not Traditional, Gemstone Malas emit natural healing vibrations based on the unique properties of the stones used.
Our Beautiful Healing Lava Malas are handcrafted with 108 beads (sacred number meaning the wholeness of existence), a Guru/Meru Crystal (meaning the Teacher or the Center of Earth) and a Silk Tassel
Wear them as a Sacred Tool to remind you to stay present and focused on your intentions.
To use as a Praying or Meditation Necklace:
Position your hand as if loosely pointing forward, and let the mala drape over your middle finger with the guru bead & tassel on the inside of your hand toward your palm.
Using your thumb, count each bead (for each completed mantra recitation or affirmation) by pulling it over your middle finger to the inside of your hand.
This allows for 108 recitations before arriving back at the guru bead. *Do not pass over the guru bead.
To continue, simply rotate the mala 180 degrees around so that the guru bead is once again in the starting position on the inside of the hand.
