Description
Connemara marble Ireland rosary beads encompass the spirit of the Irish faith. Ireland was an early adopter of Catholicism, and symbols of early Christianity can be found throughout the country. There are ancient, 9th century monasteries and nunneries with Celtic Crosses sitting on their land. Catholicism is still important to the Irish, and most small towns in the middle of nowhere still have a church. This irish rosary draws on that history. Hand-crafted and hand carved, this rosary is made out Connemara marble, a rare stone that is found only in the most rural parts of Ireland. Naturally occurring, the stone comes in many different shades of green, from light to dark. At the end of the rosary, there is a carved figure of Jesus on the cross. The rosary measures approximately 24 1/4" including the cross. These Ireland rosary beads make a perfect, meaningful gift for a first communion.
